Title: replacement upper ball joint torque specs
Post by: chronos on May 03, 2010, 08:33:37 am
Is there any torque value to installing the new upper BJ?
I'm talking about the 4 nuts that hold it in in place of the factory rivits
Thanks

The 4 nuts should be fairly tight I dont know the exact torque but they are usually lock nuts so they dont back off. The ball joints should have the torque spec in the direction book that came with your ball joints because I have seen Moog and masterpro parts be different specs with other ball joints.
