Title: Gas Tank Support Brackets
Post by: fr86k20 on May 12, 2010, 07:11:28 pm
Does anyone know if they are available? Mine are rotted. Do they come with new straps? I checked  's catalog and they dont seem to list them. The do seem to have them for the 88-98 style.
Thanks, Fran

I just bought a set 3 weeks from my local G.M. dealer, got lucky. Their is also a company on E-Bay I believe in Illinois that makes them.

I just ordered them from classicparts thanks guys! I never even gave the dealership a thought. I figured they'd be long out of stock.

If the brackets from classic parts the one's I looked at on the website are $82.00 a piece, that"s more expensive than the local dealer I bought mine from in Ohio. The dealer here including tax were $92.00 for both brackets with straps included. Maybe just got lucky on the price.

Good find then. Historically, dealerships are more expensive.
