Going doorless...

Last weekend I removed the bashed in tailgate and today I'm thinking about removing the doors.  The Driver's door is okay but after the accident when my Jimmy was rearended the passenger side is so mashed from the rear of the truck forward that I can't open the passenger door.  Every time I want to take someone for a ride they have to climb over from my side to the passenger side.

I think I would like the doorless look and function, I always like the way Jeeps look with the doors off and Toyota FJ40's

Anyone have any pictures of a 1973 to 1975 Blazer/Jimmy with the doors off?

I do plan on getting some Tube Door to replace the original doors.

Half doors are wicked ugly if you ask me. Tube doors aren't all that nice lookin but better than no doors.

Last I knew there were no door laws in Florida. You probably see a lot of jeeps rollin around without doors right?

Yes, I see a lot of Jeeps driving around without any doors.  Guess I'll find out if it's to code pretty quick...

I don't think you will have a problem with no doors in Florida. 
I have seen you on a lot of 2 Guys episodes recently!

I think it could look cool on that truck, if you cleaned up the door jambs of the hinges, strikers, etc.  The jeeps look good because they still look finished even without the doors, whereas these trucks never were intended that way so the jambs are kinda ugly for that purpose.   I have seen one where they smoothed the jambs out to lose the doors permanently and I liked it.
