Title: 350 Radiator?
Post by: lifted86K20 on May 16, 2010, 09:03:26 pm
I"ve got a 86 K20 with a 350 and I'm in need of a new radiator and don't have the money right now for a brand new one so I'm looking used.  Will a radiator from any 350 fit?

Generally not- unless you mean a 350 73-87 truck then yeah it should
Moreover, I've got a 250 rad in my 400 powered truck

There are two basic types to these truck....one radiator is thin in the middle and longer and shorter than the other the other type.  When i ordered mine, they initially gave me the wrong type, even though they both were for a 79 chevy. A new one costs around $200.

I had the same problem when I got my aluminum radiator. At least it wasn't a big deal to exchange mine. Mine was about 280, with two electric fans and shipping.

What about getting your radiator fixed? A shop can get it done pretty quickly, and you will know its good instead of a used one where you wont know its good until you install it.
