Hi, i got my roll pan in the mail last week, and when I dry-fit it, its a little bit too long for the space between the bedsides. about 3/16.
is there some way to remedy this without sectioning the pan?
-
I would cut 3/32 off of each end
-
I investigated that, and each end has a rolled lip on it, and I wouldnt want to cut that off I dont think.
any other ideas? can the bedsides be adjusted in some way to make room?
-
Just weld it in, then the lip on the end won't matter ;D

dv8, thanks for your input. will removing the rolled edge compromise the structural integrity, since the pan will only be welded at the top portion?
-
cut the sides, weld the top and sides and smooth them in.
like this

Weld the sides and do a little body work to smooth it out nice. Across the top I would drill a few holes and then plug weld them.

That's exactly how I did mine in the above picture.
