Title: 85 Tailgate trim where to find

I have an 85 4x4 shortbox and i need the silverado trim for the tailgate and the trim piece on the bottom. Anybody no where to find these, i've been looking all over with very little luck.

I found one used on e-bay, but I have yet to find a new one. I am bumping this for more answers.

thanks for the link.  I never found it in there.   

This is what I am looking for, the big stainless plate that fits in the recess between the tail lights.

trim pieces are listed in the link I posted. The tailgate band look on eBay

You're better off finding a used one (eBay), new ones are hard to find, overpriced cheap knock-offs.
I spent months looking for one for my truck before I found one off a junkyard chevy. If you have a rural junkyard around, go there. they seem to be goldmines for these old trucks.
