Title: 36x14.50-15 tires
Post by: a_thiel24 on May 27, 2010, 02:02:56 pm
I am thinking about trading my tires for a set of 36x14.50-15 Mickey Thompson Baja Belted tires. I have a 1985 Custom Deluxe K10 with a 6 inch suspension lift with 35x12.50-15 BF Goodrich Mud Terrain T/A and they are close. I know they will clear the fenders, but I am not sure if the sidewall will rub. Anyone ever have this setup?

They will be put on 15x12.5 Prime rims.

Theoretically, you are only gaining a half inch in each direction as far as diameter and an inch in each direction, width wise. I say theoretically, because each tire measures differently. Turn your wheels each way and look to see if the tire still has clearance. Is the backspacing of the new rims going to be the same?
