1987 Chevy v10 half ton pickup, single/standard cab.
I bought a rubber mat for $170 from truck and went to fit it and there are no cutouts for the four wheel drive nor are there any bends/curves to fit it properly and it goes up to my back window(way too long)!!! Its garbage basically. If anyone has experience with pre-fit carpet/matting for Chevy trucks, please let me know a good brand or company. Thanks!

Mine came from ACC and works great. None of them will fit right out of the box as they have been crammed into a tiny box. Just leave em out in the hot sun for a day or so and prop them up here and there so they get their shape back properly. All carpets will have to be cut around the edges, they cut them a tad too big so they can be fitted to each truck. And i think none of them have the floor shift holes precut. My ACC stuff fit well, though I had to trim it on most of all sides, so now it fits perfectly.

It is the ACC brand. I think I bashed them too hard with this post. It's just that when I bought a rocker from competitor Truck, it was way too short. I ended up using a different one from a different company which was also much thicker. I also got a crappy floor board from truck. I just gotta not cry about it and just go do it! Thanks anyway.

Maybe you got a bad one, or its for a different trans hump. There's 3 or 4 different humps. Even if you specified the correct hump, they could have sent the wrong one. I've only seen acc's cut pile carpet though, I've not seen the loop pile carpet or rubber mats.

Where in CT are you from? Did you check with Chris here? They probably sent you the wrong application.

You don't want a prefit kit, you want to make it fit.
