Hey everyone, i have a wiring issue in my 1980 c-10. I had just finished doing some extensive work on my motor ( port & polish new heads, timing chain, gaskets, new intake, etc) and I decided to clean up that rats nest that was formerly called a factory wiring harness in my truck. The main problem was the wires from the fuse panel to the distribution block, to the alternator and starter. So this is how i left it- the truck will turn over, but no juice to the accesories or ignition system. Is this wrong? does anyone have any wiring diagrams??(http://carphotos.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/3038/1921/7593460369_large.jpg)

I may have just figured it out... I think when i added new ends to the terminals at the starter i swapped the two wires on the solenoid- so when the key is in 'start' position, power will backfeed to the solenoid, but not to the power distribution block. Also explains why when i drop a jumper from the alternator to the battery, the starter cranks without the key on...
