Title: Lower radiator hose
Post by: Blazin on June 08, 2010, 09:41:30 pm
Had to do one on an Ford Super Duty with a 6.0 diesel in it today. 28,000 miles and it had a hole rubbed in it from the steering box. That gives you an indication of how tight stuff is under the hood!!! What a pain in the back side!

Sounds like a design issue. Is it common?

28k miles, wouldn't that be under warranty and repaired by the dealer? Still though, that's crazy it let go already. For all the size that these modern trucks are now with their wannabe 'big rig' looks and they still have to stuff them so tight underhood.
