It sickens me that Mexico is upset at this...
If I go south over the border illegally and hurl rocks at their cops, they'd shoot me in a heartbeat
-
They will hang those agents out to dry for doing their job; to appease the masses >:(
-
^^ sad but true >:( Should just close off the border to mexico, and set up unmanned .50 cal machine guns to take care of any would be illegals. But if someone is willing to come over legally, then come up with a process they need to go through, supervised, and if they dont do it, instant deportation! In my opinion the USA needs to stop being so nice, i mean we have the power, so use it. But thats just my .02

What amazes me is that for the first time that I can remember, a Mexican president has had the nerve to insult us. Its mainly because those we have in office have no backbones. They're all cowards. At one time, America was known to be better left alone, now, if you mess with us, we"ll just apologize for it even if it wasnt anything we did. Washington doesnt speak for all of us.
-
-Mexican President Felipe Calderon said Tuesday that his government "will use all resources available to protect the rights of Mexican migrants."
Migrant: traveler who moves from one region or country to another.
If they'd have just shot all of them, there would be no one to twist these kinds of stories around...
The fact the BP agent is on administrative leave for doing his job is shameful and disgusting.
This is the kind of stuff that makes the world hate us... >:(

All LEOs get pulled from the road or from field work when they discharge their firearm. Its standard procedure. But yes, the way the US treats its citizens and visitors compared to Mexico is perplexing.
-
Not on par but we have this...where there is a way they will find it... ???

Just like us in the us. law enforcement officers of one type or another if you use too much "force" on someone you get in trouble and they can sue. If we get hurt dong our job well we get workmans comp and sent back to work. That's our problem people who should have rights have more than those making an honest living. Let's just say if a rock some how killed one of those officers and they didn't fire back and dependend on the Mex side for justice lmao that will happen real fast
-
Ridiculous! You know we hear about these "offended" people all the time over the way most of us think, but do you actually know anybody who wants illegal aliens in our country? The media plays the majority part in leading the drones to believe people are really upset about these things. I bet if you asked everyone you know they'd all agree shooting him was 100% warranted. So who are "WE THE PEOPLE" anyway?

I hate the fact that a teenager died. Im a youth director and I feel close to teens, but I was taught that the consequences of your actions are yours. In my opinion, it was basically self inflicted. If you play with fire, you get burned. I have no pity for self inflicted injuries, and thats what it was. once again, I hate the idea of a teen losing his life, but have dealt with many teens that simply get what they ask for. I have studied and watched teens for many years, they know whats right and whats wrong, even the mentally challenged ones I have dealt with do. The agent was protecting himself, just like anyone else would do with half a brain. I tell my kids, dont do it unless youre prepared to hanlde the consequenses. I feel more for the family, but who knows, they may have been the encouraging factor. I have dealt with alot of teens whose parents greatly affected their behaviour in a negative way which I believe is the greatest form of child abuse and should be punished to the extreme. Good parents wind up with bad kids, but most bad kids I have had to deal with had bad parents. If the parents drink, the kids will drink, and so on.

Don't even get me started...

15 is old enough to know that it was not a good thing to do.
"His mother said he was a good student who never got in trouble."
I call throwing rocks at law enforcement big trouble. That's assault with a deadly weapon and it was described as justifiable.
-
Like I said.
MORE AIR FOR US TO BREATH!

I could make a list of the "good kids" as stated by their parents who are into drugs, alcohol, etc. Its the parents who think their kids are good who have the wool pulled over their eyes by these perfect kids.
-
I don't hear the media crying about all the American citizens that are assaulted or killed each day by illegals. Throwing rocks at the law in Mexico is probably accepted by the general population, since their police force is on the drug cartel's payroll.
-
Yeah I can't tell you how many times I have heard. " Not my kid, they would never do that " !
-
Ya, it's always, "my kid would never..." well maybe if you'd have whipped your kids butt when he needed it or society had punished him when he was 12 and first got into trouble, instead of the slap on the wrist, he wouldn't get shot when he's 15. They might not know it or show it but kids need and want limits and rules. Too many people today are worried about the "feelings" of the purp and not the victim.

Arizona has a good ideal now for the rest of the states to follow

The news article doesn't say how far from the river the kid lived but my guess is that he wasn't there to play soccer. Sure is a tragedy to lose a son that way.

Who plays soccer on a river bed
