Title: Headlight Pull-Switch in an 86
Post by: 82oldskid on June 27, 2010, 06:22:21 am
Hey, this is a simple one for yinz, I'm sure...  Im trying to replace the headlight pull-switch in my 86, but I can't figure out how to get the knob out of the old switch.  I got a new switch, but you have to re-use your old knob and rod, so what am I overlooking thats really simple?

oh, and also, where can I get a new knob for it?  the decal is off mine, and it kinda looks like crap, so I'd like to put a new one in while I'm here.

There is a "button" on the switch.  Hold it in and pull the rod out.
