hey there, quick idea to bounce off the forum...First apology to Capt as these models pre-date this website!! Im looking at 61 chev to start and moulding in a 61 ford. ( iknow i know ford!!! hahah) the ford will be the more donor of the 2. ive found 2 already that got my gears turnin but its a first thought. Any ideas ,comment or Photos would be great. Thanks, i dont expect it to be easy, thats why i wanna try!

What are you trying to mold? ( before anyone jumps on him, Im sure he already knows and meant to put 51 not 61) There are very few parts that go together, but anything can fit if you work it enough> I like my 51 as is, and dont see anything the Ford has that would help the looks of mine.

First off, thanks for the correction haha, i want to keep the front end cab and frame of the chev in the first pic, i guess i would use the box and running boards. Creating the illusion they belong, without alot of customization showing cosmeticaly. I weld and work with sheet all day,(no master on the english wheel) so i think it will be a good challenge. Alot of it is what is avaliable in my area, $$$$, and its uncommoness?!? everyone has a 80's chev in Alberta
