Title: SM465 swap?.....whats your input?

Just kinda curious...i have a sm465 out of a 2wd chevy. Is there an adapter plate or tailshaft section to get it to mount up to the 208 TC? Would it even be a wise swap or no? I have the 700r4 now. It dont really matter either way. I like the automatic...i guess i just prefer shifting throught the gears better. I'm not really getting to serious about doing it though...but i was just kinda wondering.

You would need to tear the trans down and replace the output shaft with one from a 4x4 transmission. You would also need the adapter that goes between an SM465, and a 208.

sell it to someone looking for a divorced setup and get a 4x4 version.
