I'm working on the interior of my 85 K10, and am having trouble with my heater/ac blower. The motor will only run on 'HI'. Where should I start looking to fix this problem? Thanks for any and all help!!!!!

Sound like it could be the blower motor resistor. Usually when they only work on high it is the resistor.

Thanks for the reply!! I'll try to replace that as soon as I can, and let you know how it goes!!

Ha, my blower motor will only run on every setting except high. Kinda sucks.

I had the same problem, however, I did not need a new resistor. The wiring on the plug that goes to the resistor had become loose. Check the wires in the connector before you buy a new resistor.

What resistor are you guys talking about? Anyone happen to have a pic of its location, or what it looks like?

Read the post I posted ???

when i bought my truck i had the same problem. however mine was fixed by changing the relay....not the resistor. i bought a new resister too but never put it on cuz the relay fixed the problem.

Just wanted to say thanks to all for your help! I was finally able to get around to fixing the blower problem. It was the relay that was bad. Thanks again, I now have a normal working blower fan!!!
