Post by: 77 cc lb on July 04, 2010, 08:44:13 pm
i've got a quick question. i'm going to be putting in a new flywheel this week. is it poss. to start the engine w/ the tranny still disconnected? just in case in doesn't work out, i don't want to separate it again. thanks

As long as your distributor cap isn't mashed into the firewall, or the fan into the radiator it will be fine.

I've done it a few times. You can use a floor jack to even out the motor for clearance on the dist and fan like Blazin mentioned.
