Title: Bolt specs VS ARP
Post by: Grover 1 on July 12, 2010, 11:58:27 pm
My front end is going back together soon.  I will use nothing less than grade 8 bolts (steering box etc).  Question is, should I spend the extra $$$ and go with ARP chromolly bolts or just regular grade 8.  Actually, it's more finding everything I need in ARP in a couple of days that makes it tough.  Also, I want to use USA bolts.  Anyone used offshore bolts and had problems??  I really want the ARP!!!

I just used grade 8 from ace on mine. Even when we work on semis stretching the frames and all thats all we use. Unless we need spring bolts then we have to go to a spring shop and get them its hard to find certain bolts they usually have them
