Title: weight distribution
Post by: 78 Chevyrado on July 14, 2010, 04:53:16 pm
MY trucks 5000lbs.

How much weight do you think is on the front axle?  how much on the rear axle?   Just a curious question.

Assume about 60.5/39.5 weight distribution for pickups.

wow, i was close if given that formula

3025 front
1975 rear

my guess translates to 64% front & 36% rear

next question, how much does a half ton of feathers weigh in back of a chevy?

You have to include how many trucks you put them in... so about 5 c-10s for the feathers, and one truck for the rocks. Feathers win.

Where are we going with this??? Lol :D

Last time I checked a ton weights the same no matter how much space it takes, a ton is a ton...
