Title: Anyone replace a Glovebox lock?

I have the old one out.  I bought the 3 parts that make up the lock.  I am having trouble putting it back together to make it work.  I bout them from   and when I put the lock in and turn it, it seems it wants to pop thelock out of the escutcheon.

Anyone ever tackle this?
Mine is a 86 silverado if that matters.

I already have the key lock apart.  I wanting to know how to get it together on the glovebox door
