Title: 1996-1998 C1500 OE alloy wheels??

I have a set of OE alloy wheels (5 lug) off of the 91-95 C1500 trucks that I want to put on my 83 lwb half ton. These wheels look just like the alloy wheels on the 96 -98 C1500's except for my center caps have holes for the plastic lug nut covers while the 96-98 center caps are smooth. My question is, will the smooth center caps work with my older alloys, or do I have to bite the bullet and buy newer wheels. Thanks in advance!!
