I've got a 454 i could rebuild and add some get bad parts for that much but i'm not big on hot rodding with my truck i've got another car for that!

It's a dud from what I am reading. Unless he is installing it for you.
I don't know what PN the 250HP version is (I don't even think they make it anymore), but the 290HP version is $1950 from summit, what you listed that he "does" to it is nothing.

Im glad I can come to the experts!!!! He says its only 1800 for the longblock! Then the final turnkey has 290 HP!!!
-
The GM starts at 290HP and has a warranty.
-
he charges 250 extra to break it in a give it a warranty! 200 for a cam upgrade from stock. thats the cheapest 350 turnkey he makes and his longblock prices just make you look to the turnkey. I'm just going to look elsewhere for a turnkey or just use that to build on the 454! I just dont know how much im gonna have to replace for the BB upgrade!

And for 3k you can get 400+hp/400+tq

I always thought that a turn key motor came with the intake, carb, and distributor.

He adds those as well, performer intake and carb and an MSD distributor. I just posted his engine "specs"

Is this guy an Authorized GM dealer?
If not he may be voiding the GM warranty on you.

I dont think so he just orders crate engines and builds them turnkey. He mainly builds stroker engines but he will build whatever you order. I asked about his 350's and what i first posted is what his starting price is for that particular 350. I know I can order from somewhere cheaper but hes the only one around my neck of the desert!!!!
