well, my poor truck has been down for a bit, because of the driveshaft. Im looking for a place to ORDER a yoke, because the one that is on there is bent and doesnt slide, therefore killing ujoints. I havnt been able to find a driveshaft or yoke, and im trying to locate one.
its about 1 and 3/4 inches of tube, outside. 16 spline. just give me a link for a website to order one pleasssseeee

I usually go to summitracing.com and put in the correct info/follow the links for my truck. I'm not sure what truck/trans you have, but I'm sure you could find what you're looking for on that site. Then maybe use that info to buy it somewhere else at a better price.

I hope that helps.

thanks. im not sure exactly what the breakdown is, but its a 78 chevy halfton, 350, 4 speed, 4 wheel drive with lockout hubs up front.
-
I looked, but I couldn't find exactly what you needed either. Maybe one of the more experienced members will chime in and help you out.

my driveshaft has the slip joint in the shaft, and the ujoints bolt to the transfer case, and to the rear end.

Not yet bud haven't been to my buds house yet I know we have at least 2 sm465 so I know we have drive shafts for it just a matter of going over there but if I got off tonight ill check in the morning for ya. I know its not transmission specific but I know I seen the slip shaft

here are some pics of the end of the driveshaft

Didn't find anything he's even looking for one. But we did find one off a 2 piece shaft that might work for him but it was like a 32 spline I would check a yard and see what you can find

ive been looking all over the place. im about to take it all to a drive shaft shop in st louis called Driveshafts Unlimited. Its almost 400 bucks for a new one, but im gonna see what it will be for a yoke, u joints and a balace. hopefully its not over 150 bucks.

If you take to the driveshaft shop and find out what you need and don't like the price they quote you, you can google driveshats on the web and a ton of them come up. Then pick one you like and order. The hardest part is finding out size, and what you need to order so you get the right parts. Good luck. Tom
