Hey guys i have another problem that i need guidance in...I went out to my truck today to find that the frame where the drivers rear shock is mounted has a huge crack around the mount bolt...any suggestions on what to do to repair it and how and where to mount the shock back up? any input will be helpful!
Thanks again guys,

I had the same thing happen to me years ago in my Jimmy. I think the proper way to fix it is to have it welded. I had a shop weld mine and they charged me $60. That was years but I think you will be able to find a shop to do it fairly cheap. It's not a huge job.

If you know how to weld you can weld it back together and if you wanted, on the back side you could weld in another plate to beef it up, that way you can keep the shock mounted in the angle the factory set it at. If you don't weld I would find someone who does and bribe them with something. That is what I would do, you can probably get it welded with only removing the shock and not removing the bed. Tom

To get you by until you get it welded, you can use a piece of plate steel or a couple of big washers it wont cure the problem but I have done this until I could wled it.

you need shorter shocks. do you tow alot with the truck or flex off road? if so its cuz your shocks might be maxed out and they cant go up anymore
