To me this looks like it could work on a power door, not a crank window door.
Anyone mount a speaker there instead of the kick panels? I don't really want a speaker down by my feet because of the work this truck sees.
I'll do the flip of the mounting bracket behind the seat to put 6x9s in.

I've seen it done before, but dont know what they had to do to mount them... Some trucks came factory with speakers there, but they had a box mounted to the panel with the speaker in it.

As Kenny said some came that ways to you can put one there, it was on 73-80s if I remember correctly
