Title: Drain holes in doors? 1974
Post by: starwars1138 on August 25, 2010, 03:51:59 pm
Hey gang,

My window seals are shot on my 1974 C10 and while I plan to replace them soon, I was hoping to pull the plug out of the drain holes I expected to see on the underside of the doors.  "Expected" being the operative word here.  Am I missing something or do the doors not have drains to let the water out?  It rained pretty hard the other day and I could water sloshing around in there when I opened the door.

Thanks in advance.

the doors don't have plugs in them.  There are 2 slots in the bottom near the front and back of the door where it meets the outer door skin.

Thanks Chris - I must have overlooked those... amazing what rust will hide :)  I'll give'em another look and clean out the slots so they can drain.  Thanks again!
