I would start looking/prying around at the engine & transmission mounts. Since you didn't mention how/when the vibration occurs,I'd suggest to start there. More details of how/when it vibrates may help someone to better pinpoint your problem. Lorne

does the vybrashun get worse with higher speeds?  Get her going fast and put the trans in neutral, does the vighbrayshon disappear?  how 'bout when you give her gas while coasting--does it still occur?

A vibraehtion could be the wheel, driveshaft, trans, engine, tire....you need to rule a few things out by a few simple procedures.

Did you check the U-joints? Maybe that's where the vibrayshun is coming from

could be a u joint or trans mount craw under the truck and just start trying to move the trans and twist and shake the drive shaft and see what you find

Wow, thought I was the only redneck who didn't know how to spell.  LOL   When you mashed on it, are you getting any wheel hop at all in the rear?  Which when it starts can move through frame to front.  Common on jeeps and lighter 4x4's, just another thought...Tom

For the most part I'd agree with you beastie, but I live up here in the north and would rather call myself a redneck than a bleeding liberal. LOL

What are the odds of Massachusetts and California teaming up and breaking from the union to start the country of CaliChussetts or MassaFornia?  That would be great for the rest of us.

Got a mechanical cooling fan?  Maybe smashin' the accelerator flung a fan blade off.  I was mowin' along a few weeks ago in a Massey Ferguson tractor and somethin' went 'whoppity bang' at full throttle and then there was a weird VIBRATION and I could smell anti-freeze.  Turns out a blade flew off the cooling fan and chopped through a radiator hose.  Haha

Also, a few years back, a friend of mine dumped the clutch as a red light turned green in his little Mustang II and somethin' went 'ka-bang' and it turned out to be a fan blade, which, by the way, went through his radiator and dented his hood.  lol  Turned out that there was a recall on those cooling fans for his particular car.  Haha
