Title: Help Needed... swaping two trucks.

Will the bed and cab of a 81-87 fleetside k10 4x4 swap on the frame of a 79 k10 fleetside?  What conplications will i have if any?  The 79 is a manual and the 81-87 will be a automatic.  I am also replacing the tranny.  

Or would it be easier to swap the front end of my 79 on the 81-87 k10?  Either way I want to keep the 79 style and have the modifications that the 81-87 has.  AC, better wiring, interior, front windshield not cracked, better doors, etc..

What would you guys do.?

you can put 81-87 wiring in the 79 if you just want updated wiring, but does the donor have good wiring.

the body will swap though.

Use the body mount bushings from the '79.
