who on the forum here has put a bolt in front end on their truck. I'm looking to put one in but don't know which one to buy.
the choices: jim meyer, porterbuilt, fatman fab, thorbecke brothers. If anyone has some pics, or advice let me know.
thanks jarett

My personal recommendation is Porterbuilt. He is the originator of these. I am buying one for one of my trucks. I stopped chopping the factory ones down when Porterbuilt started building them.
Search Porterbuilt on the forum for pics.

C10forum.com has tons of pics of people with the porterbuilt setup. Sorry if we are not supposed to promote other forums Captn.

Porterbuilt has tons of pics also.

Jarett, Are you thinking about ditching the Mustang front? I just looked at a couple of your pic's... Man, that front is WAY inside the fenders! Any of the stock replacement fronts would require a bunch of work to get mounted to that frame. Lorne

no i'm not ditching anything on that truck, i'm building a 80 shortbox, something i can take out cruising.

here's another front end i found that I think really like, that Just trying to decide which one to go with

That doesn;t apear to have any extra drop clearance like the porter has

it has clearence verses a stock cross member, but probably not as much as a porterbuilt
