Title: Starter wiring
Post by: BULLDOG on September 16, 2010, 08:10:35 am
The starter wiring on the 83 was a mess it was a huge ball of old and new eletrical tape.
After removing all the tape there where about 7 wires in that mess but I am just using 3 to make the truck run.
So what are all those extra wires for and was there a connector there at one time ?

can you take a pic?  the wasn't a connected on there.

There should be a power from the battery, switch power to the switch and a hot wire to the junction that powers the truck.

i'm guessing it goes to the fuse panel to power everything else.
