Hello first of I'm new to the board and but not new to 73-87 Chevy truck. I have always loved the style and finally found a k-10 short fleetside 4x4 with 4" susp. lift with 350 4bbl and SM-465/np205 setup and i am in the process of buying it now. i was thinking about wheel combos and while i really love the original rally wheels we all know how they can be a little pricey for a steel wheel. Now i was wondering if a set of wheels off a 99-06 or so Chevy half ton will fit. I think they are same bolt pattern from what i have researched. But is the backspacing not the same or close or lug holes a different size? i was wondering because the PO is including a set of 33x12.5x16 tires and wondered if those wheels can bolt up because i found a set cheap where i am at. And the trucks current tires are shot and thought maybe i could get around buying wheels and tires. I searched the forum and did not find anything and hope i'm not asking any stupid questions or beating a dead horse.

Welcome. The newer trucks with IFS have a smaller center hole in the wheels that won't fit over the solid front axle's hubs, and some have no center hole at all.

Ok yea i guess i shoulda thought of that.(what a rookie i am) i figured there was a reason why i have not heard of it or seen them on are style trucks. well then if i can find a set of rallys affordable then ill sell the tires im getting with the truck and get 15" or get a set of 16" wagon wheels. also a personal fav. on these trucks....hmm kinda reminds me of the fall guy days.. ;D
