Ok well my first deal or dud was a DUD thanks for the help. New deal or dud
So I picked up a running rebuilt 350 my dads friend had in a jeep. Only 3,000 on the rebuild. I've been taking a stab at building it with some "go fast" parts. I dont have them installed or anything just purchased and the motor still complete.
Now a friend of mine picked up a 90s model vette and is gonna drop an LS1 in it. He wants to trade the 350tpi and 700 tranny for my 350 and use the 350 "as is" in another project of his.
DEAL or DUD? I'm keeping all the parts ive purchased cam, lifters, stall converter, and intake. Is the 700 better than my 350 tranny in the end and could i just delete the tpi with my carb intake??? I'm really stumped and whats a better set up

Why would he do that? I would think the tbi would be a better motor. The 700 would also be better than the 350t if you just drive it that wants me to think something is wrong with it more since someone added in the "as is"
