Title: hood ornaments...

Which hood ornament went on the 77-79 silverado k20 or k10?  I have a silver one that has chevrolet with the bowtie on it, and a yellow and black ornament with just the bowtie in the center.  Any knowledge on this??

I'm not sure that there were hood ornaments available for 77-79. All I'm seeing is 81-87 but maybe someone else knows more than I do on this subject. Capt most likely knows so hopefully he'll chime in :)

This one is for 80 and older trucks.  This one is kinda bare metal looking, you can see textures in the surface.

This one is for 81 and newer trucks.   This one is really smooth and shiny.
