Title: vapor lock

anybody have any any good ways of preventing vapor lock on fuel lines? thanks for any info.

carbureted or fuel injected? Keep them insulated from heat. Vapor lock means the fuel has boiled which is caused by heat and pressure drops.

it's carbed. would the foil tape be enough to help keep cool?

It shouldn't be boiling unless the tank isn't vented and the lines are too close to a heat source.

thanks vile. i made a bracket for the fuel line to sit off the valve cover, which i think was the problem.
