Title: A poem
Post by: bobcooter on October 08, 2010, 01:59:04 pm
I turn wrenches for a living,
I turn wrenches for fun,
I turn wrenches cause I'm a poor boy,
trying to get out of another bind, son.

Through the heat and cold,
through the sun and the snow,
through the busted up knuckles and pain,
One things for certain,
on which we all can agree,
nothing's worse than turning wrenches
in the rain...

i think you found a new  avenue to make a living
and found a new talent to celebrate on thanksgiving

I myself like arranging words to rhyme
though I have yet made my first dime

Yeah really, don't most poets get famous after they're dead?

I don't work in the rain lol hate getting drip drip drip of cold rain when I'm under a truck. If its raining cats and dogs I'm ok as long as I'm soaked but being dry then getting the Japanese water treatment ain't for me
