Well, why dont I listen? I got a crate motor from jegs and a new trans and a converter. They told me with my cam, I would need a converter to stall at 2200 rpm. Of course I bought a 2300-2700 now the motor is a beast in neutral, but in drive it barely spins the tires and seems to be bogged down or not transferring power. I know nothing about trans or converters... would there be that much difference by raising the stall? I know its probably my fault... ::)

It doesn't sound like the converter is your issue. More details please. Tell us about the engine, your iginition system, timing, transmission, gearing etc.

That much more of a stall won't be an issue, like Vile stated, more info.
