Title: C-20 pinion seal ,gasket replace?

i have a leak on pinion support gasket on 80 C-20. can i remove the yoke, replace the pinion seal and the support gasket without changing the pinion setting? it is the 14 bolt 10 1/2'' RING GEAR. where can i find the seal and gasket?

You can get the seal at Napa.
I've done it before by counting the turns on the pinion nut as you remove it.
Replace the seal then turn the nut the same amount of times to install it.

Mark the pinion nut and the pinion flange with a punch. Tighten the nut back to where the dots line up
