My left hand turn signal is not self cancelling in my 87 Blazer.

Anyonr know what the most likely cause of this is?

broken plastic inside the steering column...... i think they sell repair kits but im not so sure about for these trucks..... the steering wheel has a little tab on it internally and when you press the blinker down it latches to the column and is released when the tab connected to the steering wheel(shaft) passes and snaps it free.

kind of a redneck explanation but thats what i got LOL

Pull the wheel and see if the spring is broken.

Spring is very likely missing or broken.
