Title: No I am not lost.
Post by: AC66Bronco on October 14, 2010, 08:08:11 am
Hello all. My name is Andy and as the user name would imply I do own a '66 Bronco but that is not why I am here.

I am here to gather up some information on how to work on my fathers truck.

His is a 1983 C20 8400? GVW 350 (Whichever the heavy duty model was that did not come with cats)

It was his first new vehicle that he ever bought and it is his baby. However with his aging his lack of vehicle maintenance has taken a toll on the truck.

I just got done running all new pre-bent SS brake lines courtesy of inlinetube near Warren MI.  If you have never used them I highly recommend them!!!!!!!!!!

I have already found some very helpful topics on the brake softness I am experiencing.

After I get the brakes sorted out its on to a full poly bushing swap :D

-Andy

It's okay I own a ford too, I just don't really talk about it, even though it's pretty cool(for a ford).

I will NEVER EVER give up my Blue Oval. I know that's a problem but at least they circled it for me :D

But don't get me wrong I love my Chevy's to. I would love to put together a nice 377 for the '83 but seeing as I live in Flint I am sure you all can guess what it is I do for work right now.... (nothing in case you couldn't guess)

I guess it is time for me to make a new thread with some questions.

C'mon guys, I've never owned a Ford and I'm not a big fan of most of their stuff prior to about 2000.  Old mustangs are too cool and I'm sure I could fall in love with a '66 Bronco, though!  I'd probably like it better with a sbc.

Welcome from California.....Between 1 of my freinds and myself we have had 3 60's eras bronco's for off roading, and besides a jeep u can't get a better 4-wheel mach.  (at least the wheeling I do, not mudding.  Sorry for those who love mud)
