Title: 79 chevy k10 restoration....
Post by: lpapa15 on October 16, 2010, 08:33:19 pm
I bought this 79 cheyenne for 2,000 two months ago.  I plan on restoring the truck.  The engine runs great and it came with a 2 inch lift with 33's.  I am going to post pictures of the projects that i am doing from here on out.  Last week I installed bucket seats from a 86 suburban.  They were in perfect condition.  Next week i plan on putting a making the truck a 4 inch lift.  I will post before pictures and current pictures.  The current pictures make the truck look worst but oh well that is the process of restoring a truck especially when you are inpatient like I am.  I plan on painting the truck in Nov or Dec.  Before i paint it though I want to replace the bed.  I am picky....  I want this truck to look better than any ride of its kind on the road.  I plan on keeping it forever.  Here are some pictures..

I can certainly respect your goals for your truck, just keep in mind that there always seems to be someone with an unlimited budget who will spend insane amounts of money on their ride.
