Dont have the truck running yet but I do have my power running and everything else. My question is this, if I just turn the key on without the truck running will my fan work? last night I turned the key on to do some work to my lights and I noticed that my fan wasn't working. So I thought maybe the truck has to be running for this? wasnt sure and cant start the truck for a bit yet as I still need fliuds and a rad etc...

Check your fuses and make sure you have power to the wire running to the fan. It should be running even with the engine off

X2. Fan should always be turning.

As i have said before I am just starting to get the truck back together and m finding a ton of problems. I never drove this truck just bought it and tore it down. todays problem is my heater fan doesnt seem to be working so I have taken everything apart and have found the plug in the back of the controls is toast. The I tried to wire it direct to see if anything would work and nothing. have to try and find a new plug. Afetr that I tried my wipers and as you would guess no go. Haven't looked into that to much just find that up and gave up for tonight. just so ypou know i did check all the fuses and we are good to go. This truuck wiring was hacked up pretty bad before I got the truck. I am no pro when it comes to electrical but I am trying. If anybody has any input I am all ears.
