I JUST BOUGHT A SET OF THREE GAUAGES. I cant seem to find a spot to mount them/ looking for pics of where you guys mounted yours.
-
I'm going to mount mine on the lip under where the ashtray is. Ill post a picture when I get home from work tonight. Mine isn't bolted up yet but it will give you a idea.
-
In my 86 I put them about the same spot center of the hump. Most states your not supposed to mount anything on the dash. Del failed my buds blazer cause he had a small tachometer on the center of the dash
-
Wow I didn't know that about the dash thing!
-
What gauges are you mounting?
-
they are volts, water, oil. I am just looking for a few ideas of where to mount.I was thinking just below the stero but dont know if they will be in the way there. o I was thinking by the asytray as well. But i like by nthe stero better. I dont have any of my interior in yet so its hard to tell how it will look. thats why I was interested in some pic to try to get sn idea

If you don't have a/c, the pocket above the climate controls is a nice spot for 2 guages. I have my tach on my a-pillar.
-
I also have my tach on the A-pillar. I have a trans temp gauge to mount somewhere also. Chris is working on pillar pods for our trucks, so I am just waiting to see what's available when that comes around. If you have the triple set with the bracket it should work to mount it on the bottom lip of the dash like screamin86 said.

Those are all gauges in the factory cluster. Why not mount them there?
