Check out his picture.  My buddy took this at work when a rep was there showing new products.  Its from a newish Ford f250.

No your eyes work just fine, it actually had seven lugs.  He didn't believe the hub cap so he took it off and recounted, 5 times.  I also counted several times and was baffled.  This is truly an anomaly.

7 lug come on the f150 with 7700 gvw.Never seen it on a f250.

A friend just got rid of a f150/7700 pkg. (around 2000 model).  I always thought the 7 lug on his was a bit goofy.

I work on 6 and 7 lug F150s an a pretty regular basis. The six lug is basically a Mazda with a Ford power plant. I have seen one F250 seven lug.

I had no idea they ford used 7 lugs, seems like a waste to me.  Sorry I'm ford illiterate lol.

Pretty limited choice of wheels on those trucks. One more reason not to own a Ford.

yeah thats why every 7700 still has its stock wheels.  i dont get why they spent the $$ to come up with all the 7 lugs parts when they had 6 and 8 lug stuff on the shelf.

it used to be all dodge, ford and gm 8-lug trucks wheel patterns where all the same.  All  those 8 lug wheels were interchangeable between all three makes.   I think it was '96 when Ford used a different 8 lug pattern.

The Super Duty's 8 lugs have a metric spacing. The older Dodge wheels, some don't fit on Fords or Chevy's as the center was a little bit smaller.
 Had a guy com in a few weeks back couldn't understand why his two rear wheels on his 96 F250 were cracked, and some of the studs were broke off. He had bought the tires, and rims used, bolted them on his truck. Wound them down with and impact. Then figured the shake was because they needed balancing. Then when one wheel about fell off he said that someone must have tried to steel his two rear tires, and thats why they got loose and floppin around. The whole problem was that the centers didn't fit over his hubs, and he was to numb to see that when he wailed them on there with the impact!

They were on the right way, but the center of the rims look like a pop tent! They fit over the first several inches of the hub, it was the last 1" or so that they didn't. Pushed them out a good 1/2" to 3/4". He is a a logger need I say more?  ???
