Title: Fuel Prressure questions
Post by: Da67goatman on November 02, 2010, 09:36:30 pm
Where is the factory fuel pressure regulator?  What is proper pressure for a tbi 350?  Why would the factory put 3/8" fuel lines on my 350 TBI?  These are the things i need help with.  Thanks for your assistance.  (pictures help I'm a visual learner)

It's in the tbi unit. 13psi is ideal. Why wouldn't they use a 3/8" line?  ???

It just seems large for the small output of the throttle body.  Can I remove that diaphragm and just use an aftermarket adjustable regulator?

TBI is fairly low pressure fuel injection. There's a difference between pressure and volume. Close off some of a water hose, the pressure shoots up but the volume goes down.
