Will the 1970's model fenders like these http://sandusky.craigslist.org/pts/2048087221.html (http://sandusky.craigslist.org/pts/2048087221.html) fit a 1980's model truck?
-
Those look like my 74, who said they were 70's ? 81 is when they changed the side marker to verticle instead of horizontal.
-
I associate them with the 70's Chevy's because thats where they were most present, most 80 models had the vertical side markers. Im just wondering if they would fit because i need to replace both fenders on my truck and i was wondering if it would be cheaper to order another fender (80's model) because i already have one, or just get those for his price of 200.
-
i think there were a few other things that made them different than the 80's model. hood hinges maybe?
-
To use those on your 81+ you would need core support, hood, and inner fenders.
-
1973-1980 had the same fenders
1981-1987(91) had the same fenders.
So no those won't work.

Ok, thanks everyone.
