So I dropped a manifold bolt into the smallest hole in the world. I had every other hole plugged with paper towels--I didn't even see this hole until the bolt fell right into it. I tried to use a magnetic pick-up and on the third try, the magnetic head broke off in my block! Holy crap--How am I going to get this stuff out of my block?

Wow... If you can't find them, you're gonna have to pull it apart.

Oil drain back hole. the pieces should be in your oil pan.
-
Get another magnetic head and try again...?
-
Got them--7 hours later and with the help of 5 different pick-up tools, mirrors and my nimble fingered wife, both the bolt and the magnetic head are out of my block. I will now drink a beer and take the rest of the day off of this project:)

congrats you've earned it.

That's great news, enjoy the break!
