Title: Intake manifold bolt into the block
Post by: TandocTools on November 09, 2010, 08:47:12 pm
So I dropped a manifold bolt into the smallest hole in the world.  I had every other hole plugged with paper towels--I didn't even see this hole until the bolt fell right into it.  I tried to use a magnetic pick-up and on the third try, the magnetic head broke off in my block!  Holy crap--How am I going to get this stuff out of my block?

Wow... If you can't find them, you're gonna have to pull it apart.

Got them--7 hours later and with the help of 5 different pick-up tools, mirrors and my nimble fingered wife, both the bolt and the magnetic head are out of my block.  I will now drink a beer and take the rest of the day off of this project:)
