There is a reason we have a country that recognizes life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This privilege was earned. There is a reason why we have a government of the people, by the people, for the people. There is a reason that this has not perished from the earth. Thank a U.S. veteran today. And, everyone should read the Gettysburg Address at least once a year.

As a Veteran I can say it was my honor and pleasure to serve for the greatest country in the world. From the nay sayers (who always complain about what we as a Country are doing) that I dont agree with to the people who would stop you in the street to Thank You for your service .

We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude.

On this veterans day 2010 I would like to thank my dad, grandmother, uncles, nephews, and all other members of our military who served, or have served to make this country great. They gave their all, some paying the ultimate price with their lives so we could have the liberties that we enjoy every day.
