Ok i am getting down to the final stuff on re-assembling my cab and ran into a problem with the drivers side window. I have replace the motor/regulator, all of the felts and seals, and lubed all of the tracks but the window will not roll all of the way up on its own!! It stops about 1/3 of the way up and acts like it is in a bind. Have tried lubing the felts, adjusting tracks, loosening bolts, and pretty much everything we could think of and it only gets worse. The only way to get the window up is to pull the glass toward the rear of the truck and up. Any suggestions???

Ok, we got it figured out last night! The felt/seal going up the vent window track lacked about 1/16" being pushed in all of the way and the bottom track on the back side of the door had to be adjusted away from the window a lil. Still rolls up kinda slow but that is the nature of the beaste with these trucks!!

Might be time for a new regulator.

Just an idea, but pre 81 windows have thicker glass and the "felts" are sized accordingly. Do you have thick glass in a thin glass felt?

Other than was ccz145a said, and you are sure you have the rear track adjusted properly it may be the seals are still restricted.
