Post by: Harmon on November 14, 2010, 11:18:53 am
Been driving truck with one door panel because my PASS side power window wire which is in the Black plug that plugs into the back of the power window switch is broke.  I cant get the metal end to stay on the wire.

anyone have any idea if I can buy a pig tail for this?

I might not be understanding the problem. Why can't you just use a crimp connection?

The power wire's metal connector that goes into the black plug broke off.  I cant get the connector to open up so I could sodder the wire back into it.  Therefore I am at a loss as to what to do

Search the internet for the whole piece, buy it, then cut and splice....I used to have a link to that connector, so I know it's out there.

Go to junkyard, cut it out of a junk truck, splice it in...

Or, You could go to the classifieds under (parts for sale) and look for "Free stuff" Someone might have the whole passanger side harness with switches and all? You might have to split the shipping with them, Probably a couple of bucks.
