Title: Kick down cable too long!

I just installed a new Edelbrock carb/manifold and now my kickdown cable is too long.  I tried to adjust it with the sliding gate on the cable near the mount but even at its shortest, it doesn't come close to engaging the end of the slot at WOT.  Is there some other adjustment that I'm missing?

I take it you have a TH350 ?
