Sanden 508 compressor
Where's a good place to get A/C hoses that go from the air conditioning compressor to the condensor and to the accumulator? Got an all new air conditioning system and all I lack now are these two A/C lines. Tried a couple different (older) year model pick-ups that I thought would have a similar compressor, but that didn't work out. Tried a couple places in town that I thought might make up some custom hoses and one place is too afraid to be liable for the hoses and the other place wants all the parts and they'll put it together. Also, the second place that will do it if I get the parts seems like they want way too much. Figure I'd be better off just trying to find some complete hoses online. Like everyone in the world, I want good quality for cheap! Know anywhere/anyone that can help me out?
Thanks, ya'll

Try your local Big Rig repair place..Most of them make AC lines...

I don't know if this helps, but I plan on using this when i get my Sanden so that I can use my existing GM hoses. Here's the link http://www.nostalgicairparts.com/air-conditioning/sanden-sd-508-vertrical-gm-pad-back-16.php

There is ONE place in town that makes hoses.
Parts, labor, and installed is $175. Does this seem about right? Bargain? Too high?
Thanks

I'd say that is fairly reasonable considering they are a custom one-off.
Stock A/C hoses for my '87 are about $150-$200 through several major parts chains

Ok, great. That's what I needed to know. :)
